A new name: Vhalmor

Emberfall is now Vhalmor, named for the old king who sleeps in the Barrows of Vhal Mor. Nothing else changes: your account, your levels and everything in your bank are exactly where you left them, and the game is at the same address.

0.2.0-alpha: The far lands

The world is a third bigger. Three new lands lie across the sea, each with its own sky, and boats to reach them.

• The Hollowdark (levels 52-132). A nightmare isle under a bruised violet sky. Hold the line at Dusk Vigil, explore the ruins of Gloamhold, and face shades, dread hounds, nightgaunts, hollow knights, dream eaters and the Dreaming Maw itself. Boats from Eastwatch, east of Aldermere.
• The Sunreach (levels 10-58). A desert isle with the harbour town of Port Sarrow, scorpions, dune raiders, a gold quarry, deep-sea fishing and the Tomb of the Sun King. Boats from the Saltbrook jetty.
• Cinderpeak (levels 44-110). A living volcano: salamanders, ash and magma golems, the Cinder Wyrm, and the richest ore in the world. Furnace and anvil at Ashfall Camp. Boats from the Thornwick landing.
• Thornwick, a new town east of Eastfield, with the Brackenwood, Red Wyn's bandit camp, the Barrows of Vhal Mor and the Greyfang Highlands.
• Five new quests: Wolves at the Door, The Red Coat, Into the Hollowdark, The Sun King's Tomb and Fire on the Mountain.
• New gear: Dreamwoven robes, Hollow armour, the Maw-touched cape, the Sunforged scimitar, the Wyrmscale shield and the Barrow crown.
• Armour that looks like armour: breastplates, pauldrons and tassets; mages wear proper robes, mantles and hoods; capes swing as you run.
• The Grand Exchange is now the Ember Exchange.
• Five minutes without input now logs you out, as in the old games.
• The game loads much faster.

0.1.0-alpha: The alpha opens

• 23 skills, quests, shops, banks, trading, Hiscores, clue scrolls, Slayer and the Wilderness.
• The Wintermaw, a group minigame in the snow.
• Report bugs from inside the game: Settings, then Report bug.
